A bright, open, and welcoming space that brings together outstanding services for LGBTQI+ people and the community at large. The volunteers give generously of their time, and their love of doing so shines through. Visit the gallery, the bookshop, attend an event, or take the chance to sit quietly with a great cup of coffee from the on-site cafe.

Architecturally interesting and socially significant, the Victorian Pride Centre has it all. We enjoyed a tour today and went 'behind the scenes' plus realised the venue has far more services/tenants than expected. Every state capital deserves a Pride Centre to enable the co-location of LGBTQI+ services, which can only strengthen availability, communication and reduce duplication.

Beautiful building and such an important landmark in history for LGBTQ+ movement. We especially loved that it was dog friendly and the roof area was a perfect place to listen to music and have a drink. Loved the library section.

what a good place to chill and visit, they have exhibits from time to time. and some chill out space for people to use. some table, with internet. you can gather a bunch of friends . if you needed, book a meeting room for reasonable price. also, if you sick of working from home, book a table here, have your own table, power outlet, meeting other freelancer. sound good, isnt? love the building design, pretty modern .

I love this place and all it does. The lights can be a bit bright. There is a quiet room on the first floor (the floor above the mezzanine) which can be used as a sensory chill space or a prayer room. There isn't any maps from what I could tell so it can be difficult to navigate however, what each door is for is clearly labelled (would have to double check about braille and font size). There are all gender bathrooms on the first floor too. There is the option of stairs or elevators. As it is a shared public space, the noise level in the general area can vary but I've found it to be usually quiet, similar to a library. The main road outside however can be quite noisy with the trams and general traffic. Particularly, it's not uncommon to have motorbikes drive past. For anyone who has sensory troubles, I recommend keeping headphones and sunglasses on hand if need be but especially when exiting the building. The doors are automatic and from memory do not make much noise.

This venue is not only a great resource for the LGBTQIA+ community, but a spectacular achievement of contemporary architecture. Go all the way to the rooftop to take in the spectacular view while having a drink with friends🍹 …
